Warranty

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY STATEMENT:
The following warranty policy is effective beginning August 01, 2014. Hunter Engineering Company warrants new equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use for a period of one (1) year1 from the date of installation by an authorized Hunter representative. Exceptions to this policy are listed below:
 All circuit boards are warranted for a period of three (3) years.
 PC’s and options installed inside the PC are warranted for a period of three (3) years. 1
 CRT's and LCD's (except 111 Aligners) are warranted for a period of three (3) years.
 Power supplies are warranted for a period of three (3) years.
 Transducers are warranted for a period of three (3) years. 2
 Wheel Balancer motors are warranted for a period of three (3) years.
 Wheel Balancer shafts are warranted for a period of three (3) years.
 Tire Changers are fully warranted for a period of three (3) years with the exception of
consumable parts and TCR1 power units.
 All lift and TCR1 power units are warranted for a period of two (2) years.
 Normal wear items are not covered with the exception of batteries, which are covered for
a period of six (6) months.
 If parts are installed in a machine that is still within the original warranty, the parts are
warranted for the duration of the original equipment warranty or six (6) months from the
date of the part’s installation, whichever is longer.
 If parts are installed in a machine on which warranty has expired, the parts are
warranted for six (6) months from the date of the part’s installation.
A warranty shall be fulfilled by the repair or replacement, at the option of Hunter, of any defective part(s), free of charge but not including labor. The defective part must be shipped to Hunter, with transportation charges prepaid. The repaired or replaced part will be returned with transportation charges to the account of the recipient.
No reimbursements shall be made for time or expenses related to travel to or from the user's facility should the Hunter authorized service distributor or its agent elect to perform service at such a location.
This warranty extends only to the original end user purchaser and is not assignable or transferable either voluntarily or by operation of law. This warranty shall not apply to:
Any equipment which has been subjected to misuse or alterations.
Use outside of rated voltages.
Accident or exposure to elements of water, sleet, snow, dirt, or deterioration due to environmental conditions.
Implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose pertaining to any products, exceeding in duration the above expressed warranty applicable to such product.
Repair or damage or increase in service time caused by: accident, disaster, which shall include but not be limited to fire, flood, wind or lightning, collision with vehicles, transportation neglect, misuse or alterations.

Repair or damage or increase in service time caused by the use of parts, supplies or services not supplied by Hunter.
Normal use items including but not limited to sensor cables and connectors, toe lines, bulbs and fuses.
Hunter shall not be liable under any express or implied warranty or incidental or consequential damages. Consequential or incidental damages will include, without limitation, loss of use, income or profit, or loss of profit.
On all products, at the time of installation, the distributor must complete the WARRANTY VALIDATION FORM (Form 2316TE). The WARRANTY VALIDATION FORM must be returned to Hunter Engineering Company within thirty (30) days of the date of installation. Failure to complete and return the WARRANTY VALIDATION FORM to Hunter Engineering Company within the specified period will render the warranty null and void.
WARRANTY VALIDATION FORM (Form 2316TE) may be substituted by a computer printout as long as the printout provides all information requested on Form 2316TE. The form may also be submitted online at https://www.hunter.com/export/service/onlineforms/OnlineForms.htm.
All warranty claims must be submitted on a PARTS CLAIM FORM (Form 2317TE). Incomplete or illegible forms cannot be processed and may be returned to the distributor. The form may be submitted online at https://www.hunter.com/export/service/onlineforms/OnlineForms.htm.
Please note that an individual form should be used on each claim dealing with each piece of equipment. However, more than one defective part belonging to the same equipment may be claimed on one form.
Warranty parts will be retained by the distributor, tagged with the claim number and be made available for inspection by the Hunter representative. When required, and at the option of Hunter, parts are to be returned to Hunter. If defective parts have been disposed of by the Hunter representative, his signature and comments must appear on the bottom of Form 2317TE.
1 - During the first 30 days complete PC's will be repaired or replaced at no charge under warranty at the discretion of Hunter Engineering Company. After 30 days they will be repaired at no charge under warranty. All internal PC components will be replaced at no charge for a period of 3 years from the date of installation.
Printers may be exchanged for the first 90 days, and then may be repaired for an additional 9 months.
2 - Transducers include camber cells, brake tester load and weight cells, suspension analyzer pickups and balancer force transducers.
